SOUND BATH MONDAY - RELAX - 27.04.2020

Welcome to our sacred circle, tune into the energies of the day, connect with the sounds and vibrations. Each immersion combines various sounds, including Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Chimes, Shruti Box, voice and silence. Each sound bath is unique, channelled and composed for your healing intentions.

Before your Sound Bath

  1. Find a place where you can relax completely. Lie down or sit comfortably.

  2. Use a blanket to cover you, use a face mask to cover your eyes if you like. Sound Baths move your energy and this can sometimes make you feel cold or hot.

  3. Light a candle.

  4. 3 deep breaths before you start.

    Some people like to listen to these compositions through headphones, others through speakers. There is no right way just tune in to what works for you.

After your Sound Bath

After your bath give yourself at least ten minutes stillness and silence to absorb the sound.

As with all sound baths drink plenty of water after your immersion to allow the toxins to be flushed out of the body. You may be invigorated by the bath or you may come into a place of deep relaxation. Sound baths work with our emotional and physical blockages so be aware of any emotions that arise after your immersion. Grief, joy, energy, euphoria, tears and anger can all be released. Pay heed to these emotions and allow them to emerge, supporting yourself with love and compassion. It can take up to three days for the sound to work through the body so try and give yourself space, time to absorb, be still and listen to what your body is telling you. There are no right answers.

Handout for Sound Healing Clients listening at home


The compositions you’re about to listen to have been designed as a Sound Healing TREATMENT.

It is usual for these compositions to be heard in a purpose built SOUNDANDSPACE environment. It is also wonderful for them to be heard at home or somewhere you can be still & undisturbed. A surrounding of your choice or using headphones. (Please DO NOT drive whist listening.)

Once you have downloaded your MP3 please make SPACE & TIME for yourself to fully receive the healing whilst listening to this music.

- Its good advice to use a blanket as you may experience changes in body temperature.
- Switch off your phone & make sure you will not be disturbed.
- It is also good to light a candle & or burn some incense.
- Take some water with you for post session as you may feel thirsty.
- Please wear comfortable or loose-fitting clothing, make yourself as comfortable as possible.

At the end of the sound there is a period of Shunyata (stillness or emptiness) around 10 minuets long, after this I gently talk you back. If you feel the need allow yourself all day to integrate quietly.

The gong is power instrument & can have a strong effect on you physically. Please do contact me to discuss your experiences or provide any feedback the next day.

You will probably want some quiet time after the session so please factor this in when planning your day.

Please drink plenty of water to help your physical body detoxify.

It takes around 3 days for the sound to settle. So be aware of any emotions or feelings that may arise after receiving the sound. The idea of the sound is to release any blocked emotions, so be aware of this.
